Bonnie Bailey

Bonnie Bailey, age 89, died December 12, 2014 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She was born October 22, 1925 in Lawrenceville, Tennessee, daughter of the late James William and Martha Elizabeth (Willis) Hogue. Mrs. Bailey was a member of Tanner Street Church of God and a volunteer at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. On June 25, 1944 in Portageville, Missouri she married Kenneth Bailey; he survives of the home in Sikeston. Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Sylvia Bailey of Sikeston; one son-in-law, Jim Smith of Sikeston; one brother, Riggle Hogue of Galena, Missouri; one sister, Verla Horton of Sikeston; four grandchildren, Nicole (Chris) Horrell, Erin (Jerod) Posey, Tanner Smith and Hannah (Tyler) Moore; and seven great grandchildren, Caden Bailey, Scarlett Horrell, Izzy Posey, Lucianna Horrell, Clara Horrell, Kole Posey and Anniston Moore.
In addition to her parents, one daughter, Holly Smith; one grandson,Andrew Bailey; eight brothers; and three sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 16, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Tanner Street Church of God. The Rev. John Neely, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Pallbearers will be Jerod Posey, Chris Horrell, Tyler Moore, Jim Smith, Tanner Smith and Caden Bailey.
