RITTMAN Clinton Noble, 77, of Rittman, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at his home.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Ambassador Baptist Church in Wadsworth, with the Rev. Michael R. Decker officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ambassador Baptist Church, 620 Trease Road, Wadsworth 44281.
Clinton was born Feb. 28, 1928, in Kenova, W.Va., to Beecher and Tennie (Holland) Noble Sr. and married Evelyn Ayers on July 22, 1951. She survives.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and had made his home in Rittman since 1933, where he was employed at Strickland-Mason for 22 years. He retired in 1987.
He was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church in Wadsworth and was a former Rittman City councilman.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Gerald (Rheta) Noble of West Liberty and Claudia Armentrout of Orrville; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald Noble of Florida and Beecher Noble Jr. of Orrville; and sisters, Dorothy Hopton of Michigan, and Ruth Williams of Hartville.
