Jerald C Noble
October 23, 1955 - January 13, 2022
Jerald “Jerry” Clinton Noble went home to be with the Lord on January 13, 2022. Born in Wadsworth, Ohio to Clinton and Evelyn Noble and raised in Rittman, Ohio, he had resided in West Liberty, Ohio since 1979. A memorial service to honor his life will be held 1:00 PM Friday January 21, 2022 at Quest Community Church, 110 South St., West Liberty, Ohio 43357. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Jerry was a graduate of Rittman High (Rittman, OH) he played football and received his bachelor’s degree in Education from Tabor College (Hillboro, KS). Teaching special education over a combined 30 years at Mechanicsburg, West Liberty-Salem and Bellefontaine, he retired from teaching in 2015. Over his career he coached football, baseball and served as Athletic Director.
Active in the Emmaus Community, he served on multiple weekend retreats, sponsoring many attendees and leading walks. His love for his Savior Jesus Christ was lived out through singing in gospel quartets and faithfully serving in his church and throughout the community.
A loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, friend and brother in Christ, he will truly be missed. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rheta J Noble, sister Claudia Shonhut, his children David Noble (Traci Noble), Kami Piron (Jason Piron), and four grandchildren, Bryce Noble, Hannah Piron, Clark Noble, and Abigail Piron. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to the Leukemia Foundation or donating blood if able to the American Red Cross.
