Virginia, daughter of HUGHA BOWEN and SUSANNA TROUT.  She was born 1849 in Wayne, Augusta, Virginia, USA, and died March 17, 1925 in Wayne, Wayne County, West Virginia.

They made their home in the Butler District of Wayne County
where John  was a farmer.  They had  eleven children with one
dying in infancy.  Some  of their children are buried on Patrick
Creek and some at Ceredo in  Hillcrest Cemetery.
