Clifford Noble Obituary







WARREN - The Rev. Clifford Noble, 79, 1860 Parkman Road West, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, in the emergency room at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, from heart failure.


Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at First Church of God, 1951 Parkman Road NW, Warren, with Pastor Dennis Lawrence officiating. Burial will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rittman Cemetery in Rittman.

Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Material contributions may be made to the memorial fund at First Church of God.

Arrangements are being handled by Roberts-Clark Memorial Home in Warren.

He was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Ceredo, W.Va., to Isom Beecher Sr. and Tennie (Holland) Noble.

He attended Anderson University in Anderson, Ind., and was a pastor for many years serving churches in Ashland, Ohio, Townley, Ala., Newberry, S.C., Pontiac, Mich., Windham, Ohio, and Warren, Ohio, where he served at First Church of God on Parkman Road from 1959-1969.

He was a member of Carroll F. Clapp No. 655 and most recently attended First Church of God in Warren.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy L. (Walmer) Noble, whom he married Dec. 25, 1943; a daughter, Pamela (Dan) Lopp of Acworth, Ga.; sons, Roger (Patricia) Noble of Cortland, Ronald (Carolyn) Noble of Woodstock Ga., Randall C. Noble of Acworth, Ga., and Rodney Noble of Woodstock, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clinton (Evelyn) Noble and Beecher Noble Jr., both of Rittman and Donald Noble of Florida; and sisters, Dorothy Hopton of Flushing, Mich., and Ruth Williams of Hartville.

An infant daughter, Patricia Louise, twin great-grandsons, and brothers, Billy Jo and James, died previously.
